LABA BERSIH MAP MENINGKAT 55% UNTUK KUARTAL PERTAMA 2010

Jakarta, 3rd May 2010 – Indonesia’s leading lifestyle retailer, PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP) today announced its financial results for first quarter ended 31st March 2010.

Net revenue increased 13% to a record Rp 1,048 billion – up from the Rp 930 billion achieved in the first quarter of 2009. Gross Profit grew 13% from Rp 448 billion in the corresponding period in 2009 to Rp 506 billion. Net profit surged 55% from Rp 19 billion to Rp 30 billion.

Commenting on the first quarter results, Fetty Kwartati, Head of Investor Relations at MAP said: “We are off to a good start for fiscal year 2010. Our strong results reflect the resilience and strength of our brand portfolio – which includes over 90 of the world’s best brands.
