MAP Announces Full Year 2016

Jakarta, 31st March 2017 – PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP), the leading lifestyle retailer in Indonesia today announced its financial result for full year 2016. Net Revenue jumped 10% to a record Rp 14.1 trillion – up from the Rp 12.8 trillion posted during the corresponding period in 2015. Operating Profit rose 70% to Rp 888 billion while Net Profit substantially surged to Rp 208 billion.

Commenting on the results, Fetty Kwartati, Head of Corporate Communication of MAP said, “We completed the final phase of our Transformational Agenda 2014-2016, and witnessed more progress at MAP, including good improvement in profitability, inventory management, operational efficiency and prudent cash flow. MAP is now a much stronger company and better positioned for future growth and challenges. We also achieved record sales during the grand opening of our first ZARA store in Ho Chi Minh City. Following the tremendous success of this store, MAP has plans to open more INDITEX stores in Vietnam.”
